Lonely Stroll:
Walking through fields of grass,
Reminiscing over times gone past,
No need for me to run,
I’ll stand staring at the sun,
I’ll take all the time in the world,
As I remember your story being told,
Now the clouds cover the sky,
If you were an angel I know you’d fly,
The rain cleanses my soul,
As I take another lonely stroll.
The picture is my Dog Sully, she sadly passed away in February.
The Poem is inspired by the word ‘Stroll’ for The Daily Post’s daily one word prompt: Stroll
A lovely tribute for the loveliest dog. ❤
