Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine. Each Wednesday you get to highlight a book that your really looking forward to. This is week I’ve chosen:
The Tourist: Robert Dickinson.
THE FUTURE HAS ALREADY HAPPENED.
It’s expected to be an excursion like any other. There is nothing in the records to indicate that anything out of the ordinary will happen.
A bus will take them to the mall. They will have an hour or so to look around. Perhaps buy something, try their food.
A minor traffic incident on the way back to the resort will provide additional interest – but the tour rep has no reason to expect any trouble.
Until he notices that one of his party is missing.
Most disturbingly, she is a woman who, according to the records, did not go missing.
Now she is a woman whose disappearance could change the world.
With breathtaking plot twists that ricochet through time, this is the most original conspiracy thriller you will read this year.
The expected publication date is: October 20th 2016 (UK).
Come join the revolution and banter and follow me on:
Twitter and Goodreads.
I thought you didn’t have a book you were waiting for. Are you still doing the other Wednesday post?

This sounds interesting but I’m not sure I fully understand. A lady goes missing but the records indicate she isn’t supposed to. The records being from the future?

I guess so but I’m not sure! 😂

I just found out about this one yesterday myself, and I have to say the description, while frustratingly vague, has gotten my full attention. Really makes me wonder what it could be about!

So have you read it yet? What did you think?

Yeah, I read and reviewed it, the review should be on the review index page. The book wasn’t a great read at all unfortunately.

I didn’t like it either, seems like it was a tough go for lots of people 😦

I thought it had a good premise, just poorly executed and I didn’t really get that it was supposed to be a sci-fi thriller?! A weird book!😂
