Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine. Each Wednesday you get to highlight a book that your really looking forward to. This is week I’ve chosen:
After the Crown (The Indranan War) Book 2 by K.B Wagers.
Former gunrunner-turned-Empress Hail Bristol was dragged back to her home planet to fill her rightful position in the palace. With her sisters and parents murdered, the Indranan empire is on the brink of war. Hail must quickly make alliances with nearby worlds if she has any hope of surviving her rule.
When peace talks turn violent and Hail realizes she’s been betrayed, she must rely on her old gunrunning ways to get out of trouble. With help from an old boss and some surprising new allies, she must risk everything to save her world.
The expected publication date is: December 15th 2016 (UK).
I have read the first book in the series and I am really looking forward to this one and seeing where the story goes. My review for the first book Behind the Crown can be found !!HERE!!

The first book was a surprisingly good read as I’m not an avid sci-fi fan. 🙂

Definitely a Drew kind of book. 😂 I’ve warmed up to some of the books you’ve talked me into.

I talked you into no books, that would be my reviews and my prowess with words! 😂

Sounds good – I also don’t read a lot of sci fi and I haven’t read the first in series but I might wait and see the reaction on this one and make a decision if this could be for me.
Thanks
Lynn 😀

My copy of the first book is still on my TBR, I can’t believe book two already has a cover and description. It’s one of those series whose books will be released in quick succession with only months in between, isn’t it? Slow down, publishers, I need to get caught up! 😛

The second book definitely is coming out quickly after the first, not even 6 months in between.
