Last Farewell:

I sit here,

Alone,

At peace,

I’m without fear,

Reflecting,

Realising,

Finally understanding,

The road I’ve travelled,

I’ve journeyed so long,

Been lost in a world,

Where I never belonged,

I’m so sick of fighting,

Of trying to survive,

Life should be for living,

Not just for getting by,

I’m burdened by memory,

I can’t seem to forgive,

And,

I can’t ever forget,

My scars would fade,

But the pain,

Always and forever,

It remains,

One last time,

I stumbled,

I fell,

Now I bid you,

This last farewell,

As somewhere,

Somehow,

I realised,

The darkness,

The corruption,

It lives in me,

Suicide old friend,

I welcome you,

My end.
