Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine. Each Wednesday you get to highlight a book that your really looking forward to. This week I’ve chosen:
RAID by K. S. Merbeth.
Has Mad Max: Fury Road left you craving post-apocalyptic badassery? Ready for a wild, death-defying ride through the nuclear wastes of the former U. S. of A.?
The deceptively-named Clementine is the heroine you’ve been waiting for.
With the region’s most dangerous raider king bound and gagged in her passenger seat, Clementine the bounty hunter is in a bit of a bind herself. She can’t cash him in and she can’t let him go, so together they cross the wasteworld, following a dying road and dodging bloodthirsty raiders who either want to free Jedediah or claim him as their own.
And in a world where lawlessness reigns, a tyrant worse than they could have ever imagined emerges to take the throne.
RAID, a standalone novel set in the world of Merbeth’s previous book, BITE, is a pulse-pounding romp through a desolate world that puts a new spin on the post-apocalypse.
I’m really looking forward to this book after throughly enjoying the author’s previous offering with Bite, a fun-filled post-apocalyptic adventure. My review can be found below:
The expected publication date is: July 25th 2017.

Not necessarily up my alley – but it sounds a rip-roaring read for those who like their books action-packed and a tad gory…:)

Had me sold by mentioning “Mad Max”. 😛 Can’t say if the expectations can be met through the written form (instead of the visual form), but it definitely sounds fun and exciting! 😀

Ha, I can’t believe I’m writing this but there’s nothing wrong with blood and I’m sure there’s far worse bodily fluids on glistening abs covers.😂

Oh this sounds perfect! Of course you had my heart at the mention of Mad Max (I even loved the new one), you know!!! Post apocalyptic or dystopian reads will always have room on my shelf. This sounds like a fund and possible crazy read? Give me blood, crazy weapons, choas, haha.
Heading back over to check out Bite!
