A Poem: Untitled.

I didn’t offer you the world,
It would have been a lie,
For the world,
It wasn’t mine to simply give,

I offered you my love,
It could have helped in time,
For my love,
It was mine to freely give,

I offered you my heart,
It was all I ever had,
For my heart,
It was yours to always break,

And I gave you me,
I wasn’t enough.
