A Poem: Who I am.

who i am

I’m the one that cuts to feel,
The bleeding,
The release,
Please tell me who I am.

I’m the one that sadness devours,
The scarred,
The anguished,
Please tell me who I am.

I’m the one that walked away,
The lost,
The empty,
Please tell me who I am.

I’m the one that runs from life,
The nothing,
The nobody,
Please tell me who I am.

I’m the one that shouldn’t be,
The mistake,
The unwanted,
Please tell me who I am.

I’m the one that can’t be loved,
The worthless,
The ugly,
Please tell me who I am.

I’m the one that’s left behind,
The forgotten,
The lonely,
Please tell me who I am.

I’m the one that chose to die,
The damaged,
The broken,
Please tell me who I am.

I’m the one that no-one knows,
And,
I’m the one that’s letting go…….

    1. Lol!!! I’m no where near good enough to write a poetry book, but thank you for saying so!

We could write a poem together, not sure how it would work though, have to be alternating verses or similar and a duel subject, love and hate, life and death, something like that, I call the hate and death though or any other such morbidity. 🙂

      1. Oh, then I get the happy stuff? Let’s just make it all morbid! Then people will read it and be like, “this is so depressing…what’s it all for” and just lay down and give up.
We will be the depressors of the world! 😈😂
        Ok, weird moment over.
We will figure something out. 😋

  1. Wow, words aren’t enough to say how emotional I felt reading this. You are a wonderful poet, don’t say you’re not because if poetry makes other feel you’re amazing at it. Great poem I hope you feel better writing it 🙂
