Welcome once again to Music Monday where I offer you all a song that I really like. If anyone wants to join in then please feel free to have a go! 🙂
Cold: Gone Away.
Do you pray
In the night
Can you appreciate the wind
And I won’t care
I won’t fight
I need you close to sing
It’s the same beginning
Gone away
It’s the same old, same old song
Gone away
It’s my whole life
In words
And I can’t breathe
When you cry
But I’ll be there to hold you tight
And I would kill
I would fight
To keep you close
I keep singing the same way
I won’t live
If you died
If I can feel you in the wind
And this is me
It’s my life
I’ll need you close to sing
It’s the same beginning
Gone away
It’s the same old, same old song
Gone away
It’s my whole life
In words
Gone away
It’s the same old, same old song
Gone away
It’s my whole life
And I can’t say
And I don’t know
How far
I’ll go
And I can’t say
And I don’t know
How far
I’ll go
Gone away
It’s the same old, same old song
Gone away
It’s my whole life
In words
Gone away
It’s the same old, same old song
Gone away
It’s my whole life

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song and their sound always captures me. Reminds me of Staind. Excellent choice! ❤

They do sound like Staind in this song! Aaron Lewis sings on ‘bleed’ one of their songs too.

I’m heading to check it out now because I’m not positive if I’ve heard that one! 🙂

Old thing by a group called ‘We Five’. You were on my mind—
NOT the song you shared, that was not odd.

This is a totally new band to me. Love this though very 90’s feel to it.

That was a new song to me. I agree, it has a Staind sound to it. 🙂 For some reason the music video reminded me of the video for Runaway Train by Soul Asylum, even though they’re actually very different.
I just realised that I tagged you in a post but never stopped by to let you know. I assumed WordPress would tell you. #fail. No pressure to participate, but just letting you know. Might work for Music Monday!

Cool, thanks, I suck at getting around to tags, looks at the long list of the ones I’m yet to do from months ago.😂
Will head over and check it out.
