Today,
From the ledge, I was balancing on,
I slipped and I fell,
Added another scar to my collection,
Felt the crimson kiss,
The touch of the blade,
Returning to my old ways,
A broken promise to myself,
Something to bring me back,
From a world turned black,
I was staring into the abyss,
Lost in the pain for those I miss,
As I see the red river flow,
I face the truth I already know,
From these rusted chains,
I will never be free,
Forever, a reject, just me.
