Oh, hello there, firstly, I must apologise for the title of this post it is rather a mouthful and yes, that is what she said too! 😉

I was just reading what happened on this past Saturday, May 19th, let’s see shall we.

May 19th, 2018 The Tattooed Book Geek aka Drew aka me wins the funniest blogger award at the Annual Bloggers Bash Awards.

Oh my, look at that, I won a blogging award!

I’m not saying which out of those two things (let’s be honest no-one cares who won the FA Cup) is better for society and the chance of future world peace but……..😱😂😝

For those unaware, because, obviously, I haven’t mentioned it much over the last couple of days!😱😂😝 I only went and won the funniest blogger award at the Annual Bloggers Bash Awards!😱😂😝🎊🎉🍻👍 Shocked, honoured and humbled not only to have originally been nominated but to then win too, damn!

I wasn’t sure whether to write a blog post saying that I’d won or not as I didn’t want to come across as self-centred, conceited and narcissistic (which I learnt from some two-faced jackanory jackass that I am for wanting my name to be used in blog contact) but in the end, I thought fuck it, I’m gonna celebrate this and ultimately I decided to knock one out and then later I decided to write this post!😜

If I can’t toot my horn and polish my own halo then what’s the point?! Of course, now I’m famous if any of you want to toot my horn or polish my halo for me then you are more than welcome!😜

I’ll also be needing some bloupies (blogging groupies) too.

I’ll be holding auditions for this, it’s a very prestigious job and I have standards that will need to be met, if you think you fit the bill then please feel free to contact me and we can discuss terms!😜

Some have called me a negative influence, that’s fine, it’s their view, granted, it’s wrong but it’s their view and they are allowed it. So you know, I’m a bad influence, not a negative influence, BAD and I’m bad and that’s good baby!😜

Anyhow, I call some people cunts, so, really, it is what it is, they want to call me negative, I’ll call them a cunt but regardless I am now award-winning, ergo, next time they rag on me they had better refer to me as an award-winning negative influence! And yes, they are still just a cunt, no award for them, widdums, but, chin up snowflake, maybe next year will be the year for you and if not I’ll create an award especially for you, world’s biggest………!😱😂😝

Honestly, I never win anything, nothing at all, not a damn thing, sweet Fanny Adams, fuck all, Jack shit, diddly squat, nada, zilch so to actually win something is a fantastic achievement for me. Especially for blogging which I’m adamant that I suck at!

I didn’t think that I had a chance, well, technically I had a chance as I’d been nominated but I’d have put the odds at around 0.0000000005% of me actually winning! But, surprisingly, I did!

Side note: No, I didn’t rig the vote or bribe people to vote for me.

I don’t try to be funny, I just be myself on SM and in blog post form (yeah, I say the same shit in real-life that I do in blog posts, possibly worse at times). If I make myself smile, it’s all good, if I make others smile, it’s all good and even better. But I don’t intentionally try to be funny, it’s just me being me and some like me, some don’t but regardless, I am always me.

I’m certainly not clean when it comes to humour (which makes it even more surprising that I won) and honestly, I’m just as likely to offend people as I am to make them smile! So, this really is one for the smut, filth, sarcasm, swearing, innuendo and euphemisms as there is nothing PC about me and most of what I write!

Hell even when I try to be normal and tone it down it lasts for around a paragraph and then I fail miserably and revert back to filth!😂

I often see things written stating that there is a stereotypical blogger and that you have to conform to and do things in certain ways to ‘make it‘ or even just to be an actual blogger. Well, fuck that shit! I’m as far away from the perceived stereotype as you can get and while I haven’t ‘made it‘ nor do I want to. I do show that you don’t need to conform to some supposed stereotype of what a blogger should be or some bullshit rules about how you should run your blog.

Anyone can start a blog and be a blogger, there’s no stereotype and there’s no right or wrong way to blog. Just be yourself and blog how you want in the way that is right for you, if I can do it then so can you and yeah, I still suck at blogging, my blog is still crap but I am now award winning crap! 😉

There were many worthy winners at the Annual Bloggers Bash Awards, I’m honoured to be amongst them and the same goes for all those that placed in the awards too, all results were well deserved. Also, all those nominated and then every other blogger too (apart from those I don’t like and who don’t like me, obvs) you all deserve recognition to as having a blog can be hard and thankless work but we do it because we enjoy it and because we love books and reading!

Massive thanks to all those who voted for me in the awards, I appreciate it and I also appreciate everyone’s continued support for my blog, those who have ever liked, shared, commented and read my posts, to all of you, sincerely, thank you. Also, thank you to the haters, I do enjoy fucking with you!
