I’m a big fan of The Witcher games and have read a couple of the books in the series. This one can be read as a standalone and I was intrigued to give it a go. I actually posted my review yesterday and it was an OK read, enjoyable and good but not what you would call ‘great’. My review !!HERE!!

Dreadful Company (Greta Helsing #2) by Vivian Shaw.

I really enjoyed Strange Practice, the first Greta book finding it to be a weird and quirky read. This was a surprise book from Orbit and I am looking forward to delving back into the quirkiness!

Ravencry (The Raven’s Mark #2) by Ed McDonald.

Blackwing, the first book in The Raven’s Mark series was in my top three bokks of 2017 (along with Kings of The Wyld by Nicholas Eames and Tyrant’s Throne by Sebastien de Castell) and suffice to say, Ravencry is one of my most anticipated reads for 2018! 

For Ryhalt Galharrow, working for Crowfoot as a Blackwing captain is about as bad as it gets – especially when his orders are garbled, or incoherent, or impossible to carry out.

The Deep Kings are hurling fire from the sky, a ghost in the light known only as the Bright Lady had begun to manifest in visions across the city, and the cult that worship her grasp for power while the city burns around them.

I loved Ford’s previous trilogy The Steelhaven trilogy and I am really looking forward to delving into this book, it both looks and epic.

I loved Ragdoll, the previous book when I read it earlier in the year after snagging it from the charity bookshelf at work and have been meaning to pick this one up for a while, I finally succumb to desire and bought it, the voices in my head told me too! 😉

Yeah, I liked the blurb on this one and no, I haven’t read any of the other books in the series!
