The Friday Face-Off is a new meme created by Books by Proxy, where the idea is to compare the UK and US covers of a book with each week  being a certain theme, this week’s theme is: Hell is empty and all the devils are here – A cover with a demon or demonic creatures.

  1. *splutter* Somebody mention 50 Shades? I MUST be on the wrong site! My favourite is G – I love the rather fraught-looking warrior surrounded by that gloating dragon. It’s an arresting and memorable image… I’m not too sure about your cover choice – that damsel in the middle of the battlefield looks like she should be featuring in 50 Shades…

  2. agreed A looks awesome , sadly i have the Cover C , and i have a resolution to read atleast one book in the series by the end of this year , and i am huffing and puffing to complete that target

      1. Can’t wait to read it , i have targeted myself to complete the Dresden Files , Dark Tower Series , and read atleast one more Malazan book and one book from this series , i already own 3 books from this series so my hands are itchy

  3. Good choice!! I was a little behind this week and skipped this one, but had had The Many Deaths of the Black Company on my list of possibilities. There we go thinking alike once again!
