The Sunshine Blogger Award. #Bookblogger #Bookbloggers #Blogger #Bloggers #Booktag #Funny #YesHeReallyWroteThat #Blogtag

I was tagged by Norrie over at Reading Under the Blankie for this tag, thanks Norrie! πŸ™‚

The Tag Rules:

  • Thank the blogger who nominated you in a blog post and link back to their blog.
  • Answer the 11 questions the blogger asked you.
  • Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and ask them 11 new questions
  • List the rules and display the sunshine blogger award logo in your post/or on your blog.

Side note: I might obey the rules, we shall see what I feel like at the end of the tag! πŸ™‚

Let the sin begin!

Norrie’squestions and my answers.

1 – What is your favourite breakfast?

I like to treat myself and indulge in a nice healthy bosom berry smoothie with a side helping of prunes (you gotta keep regular people and I’m not getting any younger) for breakfast, yummy scrummy!

2 – What was your dream job when you were a child? Are you in that career now?

When I was a child I didn’t have huge aspirations and goals and my dream job was easily achievable. I wanted to be a playboy bunny quality inspector! The job involved checking the bunny applicants and their assets (obviously) for their suitability and just generally spending time with them and seeing if they had what it took to be a playboy bunny. Yes, before you ask it was a ‘hands-on‘ type of job.πŸ‘―πŸ‘πŸ°πŸ˜‚

To answer the second part of the question, no, I’m not in that career now, I was but not anymore. I saw the error of my ways and in a twist to rival The Godfather turning heel, morphing into The Goodfather and joining The Right To Censor (you gotta know your WWF/WWE history folks) I changed my wicked ways and started working for the PC brigade.

Now I have a job that allows me to pull people up on their behaviour, the things that they say and what they write. I’m one of those people who gets paid to tell you, that’s not funny, not appropriate and don’t do, say or write it because it is offensive!

3 – How do you drink your coffee?

The normal way Norrie, the normal way! In a mug. If you want a more technical answer then I pick up the mug and then the coffee goes from the mug and into the mouth! I’m not really sure how else you’d drink coffee?!?! If the question had been phrased differently and without the word ‘drink‘ in it then there are other ways to have your coffee. If it’s in granules or powder then you could snort it like a drug, if it’s in bean form you could eat it, if it’s in liquid form you could inject it straight into the vein or if it’s in suppository form it could go up the bum!πŸ˜±πŸ˜‚

No, I drink my coffee from a mug, if I wanted to then I guess that I could drink it from a skull but, ya know, hygiene issues.β˜ οΈπŸ˜‚

Now, if you meant how do I like my coffee then, either with milk and sugar or mood and awakeness level depending black, black as a gorilla’s goolies!πŸ˜±πŸ¦πŸ˜‚ – that’s a Steptoe and Son reference from one of the Christmas special episodes and I’d bet a sentence that you’ve never before read on a blog.πŸ‘

4 – What’s your current favourite TV show we should all check out?

Well, I was enjoying ‘Lusty, busty, like to suck and is ready to fuck‘.πŸ˜±πŸ˜‚ But…..they did an episode focusing on old people called ‘Crusty, Saggy, likes to gum (ya know, cos they have no teeth) and is looking for fun’ and, honestly, it put me right off watching the show anymore! The horrors I saw before I turned the channel over, eurgh, I just can’t, the memories, I now see knee knockers when I try to sleep and I need counselling to curb my night terrors!

I’m really liking Fresh Off the Boat at the moment, it’s a comedy show on both Comedy Central and 5STAR in the UK. The show is set in the mid-1990’s and based on the memoir (of the same name) by celebrity chef Eddie Huang after his family move from the Chinatown area of Washington DC to Orlando and it is really funny.

5 – What is your favourite way to relax?

I guess as I run (well, attempt to) a book blog that I should answer with reading but no, that’d be a lie!

My favourite way to relax is by being mean, sarcastic and taking the piss out of people! Ah, good times.πŸ‘πŸ˜‚

6 – What gets your day off to a good start?

Phew, at least she didn’t ask who gets my day off to a good start as god knows what sort of filth I’d have answered to that!πŸ˜±πŸ˜‚

To answer the question, my hand, Mr Hat!πŸ˜±πŸ˜‚

giphy (2)

C’mon, did you really expect anything else! You know I abuse the sanctity of tags and filth them up with sordid answers. Don’t hate the player, hate the game and if you take offence then blame Norrie as she is the one that tagged me and obviously knew full well what would happen!πŸ‘πŸ˜‚

Well, on a work day it is the joy and euphoria that I feel when I awaken with the knowledge that I get to go to work.

7 – Do your friends & family follow your blog?

Nope, tasteless riff-raff, they have no interest in books and honestly, I’m not even sure that my family (excluding my mother who actually has a decent taste in books) can even read.πŸ™„

8 – Would you be OK to stay in a cabin in the woods by yourself for a week?

Yep, sounds good to me! Sign me up for some nice alone time and some solitude away from the idiots and morons that plague society and annoy me.

9 – Describe yourself in five words.

Charming, sophisticated, gentlemanly, polite, delicate.

Single, damaged, funny, shy, weird.

Sarcastic, crude, reserved, caring, decent.

10 – Do you travel light, or take half the house with you?

I travel light, my slave servant handles the luggage.

Anything they forget I can buy new, ya know, loaded, rolling in the money, cha-ching.πŸ‘πŸ’ΈπŸ’°πŸ€‘

11 – What are your hobbies, other than blogging?

OK, I’ll list them for easiness.

  • Hunting down the people who have annoyed and wronged me and enacting my violent and bloody revenge, think a cross between Deathwish and Saw.
  • Flower arranging.
  • Writing monster porn under the pseudonym Tasty McYumyum.
  • Crochet.
  • Trimming bushes. You can’t beat the feel of a freshly trimmed bush!🌳🌲
  • Scrapbooking.
  • Dressing up in a Grim Reaper costume complete with clipboard and scythe, asking people their name, checking the list and then telling them ‘don’t go far, I’ll be seeing you soon‘ yes, I’m evil.πŸ˜ˆπŸ˜±πŸ˜‚
  • Baking. I like to bake apple pies and then sell them to horny young teenagers.πŸ˜‚
  • Stamp collecting.
  • Bird watching, nudge nudge wink wink!πŸ¦πŸ˜‰

  1. LOL!
I’m laughing my ass off, and considering i’m in the office this is dangerous. People might think i need more work. Anyway, worth it.

Loved your answers! ❀ (And obvi, you are spot on, i knew full well what's gonna happen :p)

Drinking coffee from a skull would be proper badass. I'd prolly spill even more than i normally do.

Lot of people underestimate the relaxing effects of being sarcastic and generally a wiseass. I'm glad i found someone who discovered the magic! πŸ˜€

P.S.: i thought your bloupies would carry the luggage? No takers yet?? Shame…

    1. Lol, people thinking you need more work due to laughing is probably the lesser of two evils. Just imagine if they asked to see what you were laughing at!πŸ˜±πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

Well, ya see, bound to spill out of a skull, it has holes! Eye sockets and nasal cavities, holes = leaks = spillage.😝

No, no bloupie takers, sadly.😒 Though, luggage carrying isn’t a bloupie job anyway, to demeaning for them.πŸ‘

That is very true! Being sarcastic and a wiseass is relaxing and fun and honestly, blogging needs some nice, clean and pure fun at times.πŸ‘πŸ˜‚

  2. OMG. Hahaha. Flower arranging? Crotchet? Tasty McYumyum?πŸ˜‚ Oh man, I can’t believe you did a tag post! You, Drew, are definitely one of a kind. πŸ˜‚
Thanks for the tag. I love berry smoothies 😊

    1. Lol, probably not the type of berry smoothie that I mentioned though! πŸ˜‰ I know, I don’t do them often, or at all really, only when I can filth one up! πŸ™‚ No worries, no pressure to do it and yep, I sure am, others don’t post what I dare post! πŸ™‚

  3. I’m all for drinking out of the skulls of enemies, but would it not leak out of the eye sockets and noseholes.
Also excellent use of gifs and memes, and I liked your answers.
    Thanks for nominating me πŸ™‚

    1. Well, obviously the skull would need somesort of lining to stop the coffee leaking out the holes which would really take the effect away of using a skull.

No worries, no pressure to do it and thanks, I tend to take the fun approach to these sorts of things! πŸ™‚

  4. Haha. Well, I can’t figure out of some of what you say is serious (where do you find horny teenagers who’ll settle for pie?) or if you’re making not-so-subtle references (what kind of bushes are you trimming?) or if you’re just rambling (are those 3 versions of you listed in any particular order?), or figuring out exactly what you might be referencing (are there other busty birds besides that duck?). But it was fun trying to figure it out!

    1. Well, it’s a tag, anything I write in a tag isn’t to be taken too seriously and I go for the answer the questions in a fun way. πŸ™‚

But! No, those three versions aren’t in any order, just the order I wrote then down. πŸ™‚ Yes, there are other birds beside that busty duck, it was a clean meme to use for the bird watching comment. Well, teenagers like pie, I learnt that from watching the American Pie film. πŸ™‚ Surely there are one type of bush! Obviously I meant the foliage variety, wouldn’t know about the other sort to be making references! πŸ™‚

  5. Lovely answers, as always. I’m already sitting here thinking about what my epitaph is going to read. Believe it or not, this is just a regular work day activity for me. πŸ˜›

    1. Thanks, they are lovely answers, nice and clean compared to what they could have been.πŸ˜‚

Sounds enthralling at work, I don’t have time to think about stuff like that, I have to keep repeating the mantra ‘soon be home time, ignore the idiots, soon be home time, ignore the idiots’.πŸ˜‚

      1. Oh I do that, as well. Yesterday someone asked me where we kept supplies. This person has worked in the office 5+ years and apparently had no idea that there is a supply closet. πŸ˜’

  6. That weird pig gif, I don’t know what it is but I can’t stop laughing… it’s really not that funny; I’ve gone crazy πŸ˜—
I have to commend you for lovely wit and charm, you’re so good at it. πŸ˜‰ But I have to say I think you answered number 9 pretty honestly.
Thanks for tagging me… now it’s my turn to write a beeeeeeautiful intro about you, because you know I haven’t forgotten the one you wrote for me πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    Liked by 2 people

    1. No pressure to do the tag, if you don’t want to it’s cool though, yeah, I’d forgotten about that intro I wrote, oh well, what will be, will be, do your worst!😝

It’s the pigs from Angry Birds the movie.πŸ˜‚ But, yeah, it’s not really that funny but at the same time there’s something about it.

Lol, thanks, my wit and charm knows no bounds and yeah, number 9 is pretty honest, I guess one answer has to be!😝

      Liked by 1 person

      1. Oh I’ll get around to it, don’t you worry (not that you’re going to 😝)
Oh, you forgot about all those nice words you wrote about me did you? πŸ˜›

My mental capacity these days is very short so anything stupid makes me laugh… god I don’t even have to see the gif, just envisioning it makes me laughπŸ˜‚SO stupid, yet SO funny.

I think it’s cool you threw in some honesty amongst your witty charm πŸ™‚

        Liked by 1 person

      2. Nope, not worried at all.πŸ‘ As I wrote, do your worst!😱😝😈 Technically, I actually wrote you a decent write up, just saying and meanness isn’t cool.πŸ˜‚

Oh, of course, always a little honesty around, I think gentlemenly was stretching it enough without any more nonsense.😝

        Liked by 1 person

  7. LOL well done, you, following the rules and all. You’ll have us all thinking you’ve been reformed if you keep that up! Thanks for the nomination/tag! Hopefully, I’ll actually remember to do it…

Thanks for the tag! I’ll definitely be getting to this one!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜˜

      1. Oh I know! I think I have them all on VHS! God I can still hear him shouting HAR-OLD in my head πŸ˜‚ I want to watch it again. It was fantastic. And the fact it was just them two holding the ground too

        Liked by 1 person

      2. VHS?! Oh my word!πŸ˜±πŸ˜‚ Yeah, that’s true, only the two of them and they held the ground. Hated each other in real life but worked so well together.

Such classics, the water bed, the what the butler saw machine, the bad back, the crossword, ah, happy days.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
